The Boys and Girls Club of Kingston & Area officially opened in 1993 in partnership with the Rotary Club of Kingston. The mission of all Boys and Girls Clubs in Canada is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. The Boys & Girls Club of Kingston provides local youth with a variety of essential programing and services that help to foster:
- Meaningful learning opportunities and strategic career development,
- Regular physical activity & optimal health and safety,
- Leadership potential, growth, empowerment and,
- Healthy and cooperative families and communities.
The third annual Charity Golf Tournament for The Boys & Girls Club of Kingston will be held at Loyalist Golf & Country Club in Bath, Ontario on Friday, July 7th, 2017. Shot-gun tee off is scheduled for 1:00pm with various other activities happening throughout the afternoon, including: beer tasting, skill contests and trivia competitions with plenty of prizes up for grabs. The day will conclude with dinner at 7pm accompanied by an awards gala to celebrate the winners of the day.
