After graduating at Marist Brothers College Conservatory, Mike Brown obtained a CA designation at the age of 22, then he moved to London, England for over a year – working for a CA firm known as Tansley, Witt & Co. Shortly after, he returned to his birthplace, South Africa, and started working as the Investment Manager at Atlantic & Continental Assurance Company.
In 1982, he emigrated to Canada and lived in Oakville, ON until 2003, when he moved to Sydenham, ON and opened a bed & breakfast. Eventually, he decided to join Micro Market before the inception of OnServe in the part time position of Controller.
In 2012, he moved to Niagara on the Lake, ON and continues to work remotely on the Finance Team at OnServe. In his spare time, he enjoys bridge and PGA golf and he’s an avid follower of international rugby and cricket.
